Your resume now initiates the speaking for you—not
you.
The last time you looked for employment, you had
no diffculty connecting with the hiring manager. You
showed up to the interview, shared your resume, and
were present in person to expand on the content of
your resume.
Now the frst step in the process is that employers re-
ceive your resume—you are not there to speak about
strengths that may be missing from your resume.
